The 189th Grand National takes place at Aintree, Liverpool on 15th April 2023. The race over 4 miles, 514 yards has the most TV viewers of any horse race in the UK. It is also the one event on which most people have a flutter at the bookies.
The race has created some great sporting moments, including most famously, Red Rum winning the race three times, and Tiger Roll who won back to back races in 2018 and 2019.
