'England make Test cricket great again'

This is the headline in the Daily Telegraph after the marvellous one run Test win by New Zealand in the second test.

Though England lost, the way the cricket was played, at something similar to a one day game is testament to the strategy of the coach, Brendan McCullum and team captain, Ben Stokes and their approach to the game.  By enforcing the follow-on and thereby avoiding a slow drawn out win or draw England have shown that Test cricket can be brilliant if both teams are committed to playing an adventurous, all action style.

Massive credit to New Zealand, who won only the fourth test match in history after being forced to follow on.  With guys like McCullum and Stokes involved, Test cricket has a brighter future than many thought.
